Stefan and Ethan at SRE did an amazing job at installing our solar panels.  From the planning by Ethan to the installation by Stefan...everything went smoothly. I really appreciated that they worked with my roofer to place flush mounts on my roof and then installed the panels after the roofer completed his work. Both of them always explained everything and took time to answer all of my questions. Stefan even painted the electrical conduit to match the stucco  paint. I highly recommend SRE. SRE Renewable Energy made getting a new roof from Sandoval Roofing, Inc. run smoothly.  Stefan Schweizer and his crew came on time to remove our solar panels in preparation for a new roof.  They removed 28 panels.  They also showed up promptly after the paper was laid to install placement hardware, then again after the tiles were on, to install the panels in a new configuration to produce more energy.  He also arranged for a warranty replacement of 3 panels that were not working. It’s been an Absolute Pleasure working with Stefan and his team at SRE Solar Renewable Energy !  Consummate professionals in every aspect of my Solar/Battery & Main Electrical Panel upgrade  project! It’s so refreshing to work with a contractor who delivers exactly what they promise and takes exceptional pride and meticulous attention to every detail throughout the installation process. The price they quote is the price you pay! No add ons no fluff. We initially had an issue with the batteries that required the OEM to do a site visit. I was throughly impressed  when the OEM tech inspected Stefan’s work & said that it was some of the best, most meticulous installation work he’s seen in his 15+ years with the company. He asked for SRE Solar’s contact info to pass on to any of his friends & family who go solar in the future. I think that says it all! SRE solar is the hands down best.  They installed my system a couple of years ago and it's been great.  We had some limitations due to the age of my place and location of utilities, but Stefan walked me through options and in the end put a system together that has kept my summers cool and my winters warm for almost nothing each month.  We had an issue creep up in the last couple weeks where one of the inverters decided to fail.  I came home one day to Stefan on my roof(he told me he was coming by earlier in the day) troubleshooting the issue with the manufacturer. He is honest, fair, personable, and took the time to explain everything throughout the project. What impressed me most was how much the team went above and beyond. They painted the electrical conduit to match the roof and wall colors, and even replaced a few broken roof tiles. I didn’t even ask for this! Stephan also pointed out some pre-existing electrical issues in the house that were outside the solar scope but worth fixing, which I appreciated because it showed real integrity. My system was a bit unconventional since I designed it myself around a programmable string inverter for more flexibility. I had spoken with several other solar companies beforehand, and many felt overly sales-driven and pushy. SRE was the opposite. They listened, understood what I wanted, and took pride in doing the job properly. I couldn’t have found a better solar company. Stefan solved an issue with our solar panels where there was a lack of generating power.He and his crew were punctual.The problem was identified and resolved.He kept us appraised of the work and the malfunctioning issues. I was looking to get solar on my house after having a bill upwards of $400. I reached out to a few different solar companies and ended up choosing to go with SRE Solar after speaking with Ethan and Stefan. It was one of my best decisions yet! They were efficient, reasonably priced, and trustworthy in an industry that feels like trust is hard to attain. Ethan was thorough and thoughtful on the start up phase, explaining the process in a way that was easy to understand, and ensuring that I understood where my panels would go and what the most effective way to maximize output was. Stefan, who installed the panels and did all the electrical work, has incredible attention to detail and most importantly, pride in his work. He finished all the details, even painting any of the newly installed metal the same color as my house to make sure it looked seamless. Stefan also noticed that a panel of my wood fencing was coming off and fixed that too without any prompting which I just thought was a great sign of a good person on top of an excellent electrician. They also upgraded my main panel which was all original and desperately needed. I was so happy to have it all done at once. I highly recommend SRE Solar! SRE came out to bid our solar electrical issue and we found them to be fairly priced, knowledgeable, and friendly. They also didn't  sugar coat the potential expense which I appreciated. Years ago, Stefan expertly completed the installation of our residential solar system. We haven't had an electric bill, since! Obviously, we've been exceptionally pleased. Now, a single LG solar panel has stopped producing, so we called Stefan. The very next day, he was out to troubleshoot the problem and was able to identify the failed component. which luckily was covered under warranty. You simply cannot go wrong by working with Stefan. We are extremely pleased with the recent installation of our Solar panels by Solar Renewable Energy(SRE)! We had already carefully interviewed and screened 4 other Solar companies before meeting Stefan Schweizer who did most of the work and owns SRE. It was refreshing to not be talking to just a sales person. We also made a spread sheet of every company, and his system had the best value.   He was very honest, direct, humble and hardworking with careful attention to detail.  He was prompt, efficient and carefully supervised the installation which was done in one day. This company was an amazing from start to finish. So many companies send some guy to over sell and waste at least 2 hours of your time and show you some binder of crap that is intended to make you sign up for stuff you don't need. And usually get into some payment plan that is a rip off. This company will make an appointment, hear what you are interested in, take measurements and sent a fair quote. Stefan makes himself available as much or as little as needed and it was a huge win for me as we were able to work on roof repairs though him that were needed before the solar install. Making it a one and done job. Could not be happier with the work and continued contact with questions popping up. He made time to address everything and does not just disappear once the job is done. We finally decided it was time to get off the "Electrical Grid" and install solar at our house.  Needless to say, as soon as you use the internet to express your interest in solar, you are bombarded with quotes from all types of installers. Fortunately, we "stumbled" on Stefan and SRE Solar during our search and we couldn't be happier with our solar installation.  From "start-to-finish," Stefan made the process easy.  He took his time explaining all of the available options to us and we never felt he was trying to "upsell" the system SRE Solar would be installing. I have high praise for SRE Solar.  If you don't spend the time to do your homework getting solar, rest assured that SRE Solar is top notch.  If you do spend a bunch of time, like I did, reading post after post in online forums, you'll know that the product SRE Solar delivers is absolutely top notch.  Instead of offering you what their company wants to sell, which is what you'll get with most solar companies, you have the freedom to let SRE Solar make the best recommendation for you or you can choose all the components yourself for your solar system.  My design interaction was with Stefan and I found him to be extremely knowledgable about solar design and installation.  You hear all kinds of misinformation from solar salesmen.  With Stefan, everything he said aligned with what I've learned online.  Then to know that he's on the roof, working and supervising the job and doing all the electrical work was refreshing compared to companies where there are too many cooks in the kitchen and make mistakes.
